 GRANT VAN FUNKLE IS JIM MORRISON Grant has been in bands for most of his life. On stage he is pure Jim, leaping into the air one second, writhing on the floor the next, emulating the lizard king's every move. Grant is even able to ad-lib poetry just like Jim. He also performs as John Lennon with established Beatles tribute band Ultimate Beatles and lives in Milton Keynes with his partner and two daughters.  Anselm is a professional piano and keyboard teacher who looks and plays just like the real Ray, in fact he is even rumoured to be Ray's long lost son! Ans effortlessly duplicates Ray's classical jazzy solos on a Gibson G101 organ with his right hand while his left plays those hypnotic bass-lines on a genuine vintage Fender Rhodes Piano Bass. Ans lives in Milton Keynes. |  JASON HASTIE IS JOHN DENSMORE After playing drums professionally on land and on cruise ships, Jason, an American recently settled in the UK, is now the driving power-house behind The Strange Doors. He gets closer to Densmore's subtle stick touches than any other drummer in any other Doors tribute band and will blow you away with his playing. Jason lives in Peterborough.  ANDY HEMBRY IS ROBBY KRIEGER Andy, originally from Manchester, has played regularly in a number of bands at venues in Birmingham, London and Manchester. He plays a Gibson SG Standard guitar just like Robby's and is enjoying the challenge of recreating the unique bluesy jazzy tones that Robby made famous. Andy lives in Milton Keynes with his wife and kids. |
